LyoCure Freeze Dryer – Two-Year Limited Warranty (USA)

Issuer: TCI Scientific Innovations LLC ("TCI" or "Company")
Product Covered: LyoCure Freeze Dryer (all models), including all integrated components from top to bottom, including the vacuum pump.

1. Definitions

- Product: The LyoCure Freeze Dryer unit, including all factory-supplied components such as the condenser, compressor, vacuum pump, refrigeration system, electronics, and any accessories provided with the original purchase.
- Original Purchaser: The first end-user that purchased the Product directly from TCI or an authorized distributor, with proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or order confirmation). This warranty is non-transferable.
- Warranty Period: Two (2) years from the date of original purchase as shown on the receipt or invoice.
- Normal Use: Operation and maintenance of the Product according to TCI’s provided instructions, in an appropriate indoor environment with proper power supply, ventilation, and scheduled maintenance such as vacuum pump oil changes.
- Misuse/Abuse: Usage of the Product outside of Normal Use, including but not limited to physical damage, improper environmental conditions, neglect of maintenance, or using the machine for purposes other than its intended freeze-drying function.
- Authorized Service Personnel: Technicians or service providers authorized in writing by TCI to perform repair or service. Unauthorized individuals are not covered under this warranty.

2. Warranty Coverage and Duration

TCI warrants to the Original Purchaser within the United States that the LyoCure Freeze Dryer shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under Normal Use for two (2) years from the original purchase date.

This warranty covers the entire Product, including all components such as the vacuum pump, condenser, compressor, electronics, and control systems against manufacturing defects or failures in workmanship.

If any component fails under normal use due to a defect in manufacture or assembly, TCI will repair or replace the part at no charge, subject to this warranty’s conditions.

3. Warranty Service – Repair or Replacement

Repair of Components:
If a part, such as a controller, sensor, or pump component, is defective, TCI will provide a replacement part and, if needed, installation instructions. Replacement parts will be shipped free of charge under warranty. Some repairs may require returning the defective part for inspection.

Direct Replacement Policy:
If a major malfunction occurs that cannot be repaired onsite (e.g., condenser failure or refrigerant leak), TCI will replace the entire unit. TCI will cover the cost of shipping the defective unit to TCI, and the customer will be responsible for the shipping cost of the new replacement unit back to their location.

Labor and Support:
Labor performed by TCI or authorized personnel is provided at no charge during the warranty period. Most repairs can be performed with TCI’s remote assistance via phone, email, or video call.

Replacement parts or units assume the remaining warranty period of the original Product; the warranty does not reset or extend.

4. Exclusions – What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover the following:

- Improper Use or Abuse: Damage from misuse, neglect, accidents, power surges, flooding, fire, or acts of nature.
- Improper Installation or Maintenance: Damage from incorrect installation, poor maintenance, or the use of the wrong vacuum oil or filters.
- Consumable Items: Normal wear items such as vacuum pump oil, filters, and gaskets, except where defective upon delivery.
- Cosmetic Damage: Scratches, dents, or discoloration that do not affect functionality.
- Unauthorized Alterations or Modifications: Any modification or tampering with hardware or software without written approval from TCI voids the warranty immediately.
- Unauthorized Repairs or Service: Any repair not performed or authorized by TCI.
- Unapproved Parts or Accessories: Use of non-TCI parts, accessories, or modifications.
- External Equipment: Damage caused by external equipment or power supplies not provided by TCI.
- Shipping Damage After Delivery: Any damage occurring during post-purchase shipment or relocation by the owner.
- Incidental or Consequential Damages: TCI is not liable for lost product, profit, downtime, or other indirect damages.

5. Voiding of Warranty

This warranty is immediately void if:

- The Product is modified, altered, or disassembled without written consent from TCI.
- Any unauthorized person attempts to repair or service the Product.
- The Product’s serial number is removed or altered.
- The Product is used for unintended or unsafe purposes.
- Any unauthorized access to, modification of, or tampering with TCI’s software or hardware systems occurs, including reverse engineering, decoding, or altering internal control programs.
- The customer refuses to follow TCI’s claim process or fails to return defective parts when required.

Once voided, TCI is under no obligation to provide warranty coverage or free service. Non-warranty service may be available at the customer’s expense.

6. Warranty Claim Procedure

1. Contact TCI Support:
  Call (208) 648-2600 or email support@tciscientific.com for assistance. Have your serial number and proof of purchase available.

2. Level 1 – Technical Consultation:
  A technician will perform an initial phone or video diagnosis to identify the issue.

3. Level 2 – Part Replacement:
  If the issue can be resolved by replacing a part, TCI will ship the part free of charge and provide installation assistance.

4. Level 3 – Factory Service or Replacement:
  For major failures, TCI will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and arrange for the unit to be shipped back. TCI covers return shipping to our facility; the customer covers shipping of the replacement unit back to them.

5. Post-Service Support:
  TCI offers free installation guidance for replacement units and 24/7 technical support after service completion.

7. Additional Terms and Conditions

- No Other Warranties: This document represents the entire warranty for the LyoCure Freeze Dryer. No distributor or reseller may modify or extend its terms.
- Limitations of Liability: TCI’s total liability is limited to the original purchase price of the Product. The sole remedy is repair or replacement.
- Governing Law: This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Montana, USA.
- State Law Rights: This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have additional rights that vary by state.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining terms remain valid.
